PHYL U9 Newbury finished their season on a high note after their recent bad run and secured 4th place by beating the team above them. AFC went ahead after a minute when Louis Stewart’s corner was headed in by Scott Cropper, a lead which they held until half time. After the break Tadley equalised with a rocket but Cropper replied with his second after Eddie Lewis won the ball and Scott Cockburn sealed victory with a low shot from an acute angle.
